Investing in our future

Here in Kingdom Connection Children’s Ministry our mission is to establish an environment ripe for encountering Father God and to train up children that are rooted and grounded in Christ’s love. We strive to present the gospel in exciting ways to develop true disciples of Christ, a “Daniel Generation”. It is our desire that every child will be encouraged, loved, equipped and changed for the glory of God and for the advancement of His Kingdom. Whether that be through laying a solid foundation in the Word of God or by sparking a spiritual fire through worship and prayer, we are determined to see our children grow in their personal relationships with Christ. We love to have fun learning together!

Who's Involved?

Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night we provide a safe environment for children from birth through sixth grade where they learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on children each week! Every volunteer who leads in our Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your children.

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."

Psalms 127:3-5

How should I prepare my Child?

Each service your child will need to be checked into our Children's Ministry. After praise, the children will be released to their age-specific classroom. A volunteer will check-in your child on the Kidddo app. The app stores  information regarding the children's ages and specific allergies. When you return at the end of service you will check-out your child with the teacher.

Thank you so much for helping us as we strive to make our Children's Ministry a safe environment for your children to learn about God.

Kingdom COnnection Children's Ministry Lessons

The unit we are currently teaching the children “X Marks the Spot”. The Romans Road is a way of understanding why we as people need to be saved, and how we can accept Jesus as our Savior. It is called the Romans Road because all of the Scripture references are found in the book of Romans, Paul’s letter to the Roman church. In this series, kids will travel down the Romans Road – learning life-giving verses along the way – on a journey from sin and separation from God, to peace and eternal life with God.

An X, or rather a cross, marks the spot for the greatest treasure anyone could ever find - eternal life with Jesus.

Unit Verse: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Below there is a PDF containing the full lesson plan we will be using to teach your kids each week of this month. Parents, you can use this to teach your children if you miss a Sunday or use it to review with your children throughout each week.

  • NEW UNIT - X MARKS THE SPOT

    Quick Sand

God is perfect and his ways are perfect. Every one of us have sinned – disobeyed and acted in ways that fell short of God’s perfection. “Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God’s glory.”

    Scripture: Romans 3:23

Kids will learn that all have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfection.

    Walking In The Dark

If you’ve ever disobeyed your mom and dad and gotten a time out, you know what a consequence is. A consequence is the punishment for doing the wrong thing. The Bible tells us that sin - disobeying God - has a consequence as well. The consequence is to be apart from God forever. Since we have all sinned, we all deserve that same punishment. Romans 6:23a says “When you sin, the pay you get is death.”

    Scripture: Romans 6:23a

Kids will learn that everyone has sinned and sin comes with a consequence.

    A Light Up Ahead

We all deserve the consequence for the sin that we have committed. But God loves us and has provided another way, the way of life. Jesus came and took our consequence for us, so we didn’t have to experience it. “When you sin, the pay you get is death. But God gives you the gift of eternal life. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.”

    Scripture: Romans 6:23b

Kids will learn that God offers us the gift of life.

  • Clear Path

Salvation - which means being free from the eternal consequence of sin - comes only from God. Kids will learn that Romans 10:9 tells us how we can all receive salvation: “Say with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord.’ Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved.”

    Scripture: Romans 10:9

Kids will learn that to be saved we must put our faith in Jesus.

  • A Place To Rest

When we put our faith in Jesus, he makes us right with God and brings us peace. We have peace because we know that even though we make mistakes, God forgives us because Jesus paid our sin price for us. As it says in Romans 5:1: “We have been made right with God because of our faith. Now we have peace with him because of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

    Scripture: Romans 5:1

Kids will learn that our faith in Jesus makes us right with God.

  • Treasure

When we find Jesus, we find a treasure. One that no one can ever take away for eternity. “I am absolutely sure that not even death or life can separate us from God’s love. Not even angels or demons, the present or the future, or any powers can separate us. Not even the highest places or the lowest, or anything else in all creation can separate us. Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.”

    Scripture: Romans 8:38-39

Kids will learn that salvation is a treasure that lasts.
