Here in Kingdom Connection Children’s Ministry our mission is to establish an environment ripe for encountering Father God and to train up children that are rooted and grounded in Christ’s love. We strive to present the gospel in exciting ways to develop true disciples of Christ, a “Daniel Generation”. It is our desire that every child will be encouraged, loved, equipped and changed for the glory of God and for the advancement of His Kingdom. Whether that be through laying a solid foundation in the Word of God or by sparking a spiritual fire through worship and prayer, we are determined to see our children grow in their personal relationships with Christ. We love to have fun learning together!
Investing in our future
Who's Involved?
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night we provide a safe environment for children from birth through sixth grade where they learn about Jesus and connect with each other.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on children each week! Every volunteer who leads in our Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your children.
"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."
Psalms 127:3-5
How should I prepare my Child?
Each service your child will need to be checked into our Children's Ministry. After praise, the children will be released to their age-specific classroom. A volunteer will check-in your child on the Kidddo app. The app stores information regarding the children's ages and specific allergies. When you return at the end of service you will check-out your child with the teacher.
Thank you so much for helping us as we strive to make our Children's Ministry a safe environment for your children to learn about God.
Kingdom COnnection Children's Ministry Lessons
The unit we are currently teaching the children is called “Wreck It Pete”. Peter, the fishermen, was brash, bold and impulsive. Despite his desire to do good, Peter didn’t always do the right thing. He came close to wrecking things quite a few times; but Jesus was always there providing forgiveness and redemption. We may feel that we’ve “wrecked it” when it comes to the bad things we’ve done; but if we will turn to Jesus, He will put our broken pieces back together. Kids will know that no sin or mistake is bigger than God’s forgiveness.
Unit Verse: The Lord is close to those whose hearts have been broken. He saves those whose spirits have been crushed. Psalm 34:18
Below there is a PDF containing the full lesson plan we will be using to teach your kids each week of this month. Parents, you can use this to teach your children if you miss a Sunday or use it to review with your children throughout each week.

Making a Mess of Things
People were impressed with the words Jesus said and the miracles he performed, but they did not understand who Jesus was. Peter was one of the first to understand that Jesus was the Son of God. Moments later, though, Jesus was rebuking Peter for questioning God’s plan.
Scripture: Mark 8:27-33, Jesus Rebukes Peter
Kids will learn that if we don’t want to wreck it, we should trust God’s plan.
-
It All Falls Apart
Peter’s life had no shortage of mistakes and missteps. But Peter’s greatest shame came when he disowned Christ, swearing to people that he did not know Jesus. Peter let his fear cause him to sin against Jesus.
Scripture: Matthew 26:69-75, Peter Disowns Jesus
Kids will learn that if we don’t want to wreck it, we need to trust God even when it’s difficult.

Putting the Pieces Together
Despite all of his mistakes and all the times he “wrecked things,” God still had an important part for Peter to play. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came to Peter and helped him preach to the great crowd that was gathered; and 3000 people came to believe in Jesus that day. No matter how you have “wrecked it” you can be forgiven, and allow God to use you in a special way.
Scripture: Acts 2:1-14, 41, Peter Preaches At Pentecost
Kids will learn that even when we think we’ve wrecked it, God still has a part for us to play in his plan.

Thanksgiving Unit
Thank You God
It’s easy to be thankful when you’re with family in a nice home, smelling the turkey in the oven, but would you be feeling thankful if you were put in jail for talking about Jesus? The faith of the early believers should inspire us to be thankful in all circumstances, knowing no matter what our situation, God is with us.
Scripture: Acts 5:17-42, The apostles are persecuted
Kids will give thanks for one good thing that has happened recently.
